--“清华青少年杰出计划”首届青少年交流大会启动

经过数月精心筹备, 首届青少年经验交流大会将于2012 年2月25 日在美国硅谷史坦福大学举行。 会议宗旨在于促进青少年相互交流生活成长过程中的经历, 包含多元文化, 积思广益, 互相借鉴学习。

会议采用国际学术会议的方式, 参会者可只提交论文或提交论文并上台讲演。 论文题材不限, 可以是一次影响人生的经历, 一件促进反思的事件, 一项超越自我的追求； 学校日常生活，个人独特的学习历程； 暑假社会实践经历, 科学夏令营活动, 学校社团活动, 社区公益活动； 参加著名学术活动或科技竞赛经历, 参加文艺体育团体或竞赛经历等。 所有通过的论文将装订成册, 与参会学生及家长分享。

大会将有教育界嘉宾发表主题讲演, 随后是学生的论文讲演, 同时将有著名教授及教育界名人嘉宾组成的评审团做现场点评。 优秀论文将获得相应奖励, 从演讲内容, 演讲技巧, 表达方式等多个方面评出各项优秀奖数名, 并颁发证书和奖金。最高奖金为1000美金。 提交的论文和演讲仅限英语, 论文册则可随后译成中文。

Badminton on Saturday Afternoon in Sunnyvale (2/25)

Dear badminton players,

You are welcome to join the badminton fun again in Sunnyvale Indoor Sports Center this coming Saturday.

All levels are welcome!
Must be at least 16 years of age or older to participate unless supervised by parent or legal guardian.

There are usually much more than ten regular players from cheersbay's badminton team in each session.

Session I: 3:30pm - 5:30pm (default)
Session II: 5:45pm - 7:45pm (optional)
